How Do I Join the Energy Leader Forum?

How Do I Join the Energy Leader Forum?

Skip anywhere from 2 to 4 years of the management and leadership learning curve

The Story

The Energy Industry (Oil and Gas in particular) has an understandable history of being secretive and careful in cross-company interaction.  Of course, it is completely understandable since finding a ‘play’ or a ‘find’ can easily be undercut by a savvy Land Department scooping up acreage, etc.—- and, never mind the nature of technological advances as a point of advantage.

However, there is no doubt that a certain amount of cross-pollination has benefited everyone.  We all know stellar engineers and entrepreneurs who cut their teeth on Exxon, Shell, BP, Marathon, and Conoco-Phillips (from the old days).

The truth is that leadership and management talents benefit everyone.  Finally, with the advent of the Energy Leader Forum, we have the opportunity to help one another grow as leaders and managers…without worrying about how it affects any particular play in the field.  If we all grow in our leadership skill, then the Industry benefits…which means each company benefits together.

After you live a few years you find out that satisfying your every personal need for achievement (even if you pull it off) really isn’t that satisfying.  When you engage in a community that is helping one another become better leaders, well quite frankly, you are leaving a greater impact on Energy, Leadership, and the World in general.  What an amazing opportunity technology has afforded us to offer both our questions and insights to one another for the benefit of all.  Frankly, we are hurt by your absence from the Energy Leader Forum, and you are hurt from from not having our input into your own day-to-day issues and concerns.

The Cost

The cost is nothing, relative to what we are spending on the need and benefit.  What does one trip to training or a convention cost you / your company?  Now, be sure and count travel, room, meals, incidentals, the training, etc.  Yes, you have a notebook…but compare that to an entire year of 24-7 connectedness to a community of like-minded and like-interested leaders.  We aren’t giving it away, but we are hoping we might broaden our relationship with you and your company over time (just being honest here).  Nonetheless, if your only involvement is with the Form, the whole of the Energy Industry can still be profoundly affected.  For the actual price: HOW TO JOIN THE FORUM
